Jeff Fest 2013

Last year, Jeff Fest was a boon, landing me four trucks in one shot. This year, not so much. I actually could have scored both Giordano's and Gelato D'oro, but I just wasn't feeling it. This was the first time that this whole crazy ride has started to feel like work. And I just wasn't feeling it that day. Hey, I'm only human and I can't be "on" every time.

That's not to say I didn't eat food truck food though. Curried Away was here and holy hell, they were packing chicken kati rolls and samosas. And this time, there was plenty tamarind dipping sauce for the kati rolls. Though we did have to ask for some.

If you've never tried the kati rolls, I swear to you, this stuff is like crack. You need to go get some. Like, now!
