Flirty Cupcakes

Technically not a two-fer, but earlier Eva, Iva and I hit Falafel Brothers and later learned of a post-lunch landing near Merch. And so we set out again for some dessert.

While I've enjoyed all the cupcakes I've tasted from the various trucks, let me reiterate that I am not — I repeat, not — a cupcake fan. Sure I'll eat them, but I'll also pass them up in a heartbeat. Nothing personal. It's just me.

Actually, it's the reason why I never ate from food trucks last year. I definitely recall seeing a cupcake truck on more than one occasion (for the life of me, can't remember which) and thinking: "Cupakes...meh," and kept on walking.

Now, a certain green machine has set the bar for me here, and I will go out of my way to eat those cupcakes.

So for me, this was just another truck that would get me closer to my goal. A means to an end. Nothing more, nothing less. Boy, was I conflicted when I bit into my pineapple rum cupcake (on National Rum Day, no less!).

Damn. Just what I needed. Another truck that makes me want to eat cupcakes.

Not good.

Good thing for me I'm just not into the dude that was selling them. Now, if he was a cute cupcake girl, then I'd have some serious problems.

Go get him ladies. He's all yours. And the cupcakes are worth it.
